Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I'm fairly confused by this one: my user directory seems to be completely unrecognized now.Did the directory move from Programdata\Config\Users ?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 That is where my users are in stable and beta.
Luke 42080 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Nothing changed. Are you experiencing a problem?
Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 Are we still working out of Users\<User>\Appdata\Roaming\Emby-Server\ as the base directory?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Are we still working out of Users\<User>\Appdata\Roaming\Emby-Server\ as the base directory? Yes, are you seeing different paths on the Dashboard or in your logs?
Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 Nothing changed. Are you experiencing a problem? Yes. All of my users are missing. That being said, in full disclosure, I moved drives around in my server, but the raid itself hasn't changed configuration. I'm not ruling out that that's a possibility but I'm rather confused what's going on. The other thing that I've had set for --- at least 2 years now, is a symlink for my install directory C:\User\Admin\Appdata\Roaming\Emby-Server\ <=> D:\Server Applications\Emby\ I don't recall seeing an update for Emby pushed out in the last day or so either; but I also have had a few system crashes moving around my raid cards. In the past, a reinstall of Emby has fixed oddities like this.
Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 Yes, are you seeing different paths on the Dashboard or in your logs? No, my logs, default install location, symlinks are all consistent First few lines from my log: 2019-03-29 20:25:41.788 Info Main: Application path: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll 2019-03-29 20:25:42.119 Info Main: Emby Command line: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: False User Interactive: True Processor count: 4 Program data path: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application directory: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system
Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 Hmmm, I seem to be having some weird directory permission issues --- let me figure this out first and see if it resolves my issues.
Lighthammer 91 Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 (edited) I don't know, I fixed all the permissions but it hasn't resolved the issues.I'm posting my log to see if anyone has any suggestions. I'll probably start recreating users tomorrow if I can't get it resolved. (2019-03-29) Emby Log.txt Edited March 30, 2019 by Lighthammer
Luke 42080 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 The log doesn't tell us much. If you have the one from earlier when you first noticed the problem then that might be able to tell us something. Thanks.
