I'm looking for a way to convert MKVs to DVR-MS or WTV files, and retain at least 5 channel AC3 Audio   I can already convert a MKV file into DVR-MS with 2 channel AC3 with my existing toolset, and I'm thinking once I get the sound format I need from emby I can do a simple container swap and have the file type I need.  Thanks.

Thats correct but leave the difficulty aside, if I choose to download a MKV file that contains HD-Audio tracks, will emby re-encode those tracks to 5 channel AC3 using either the TV or mobile profile?  If I can get a MKV with 5 channel AC3 then I might be able to use DVRMS toolbox to do a container swap into WTV or DVR-MS.

Yes, the tv profile should do that.

Thanks Luke!!  This should hold me over for a while, and if nothing else works MP4s might give me the same end result provided these play fine on my extenders.
