I am using the embed Android TV Emby app on my Sony x900e with no success on 4k. I am not transcoding, speed if fast enough, though it maxes out at 1080. I know the source is 4k and it plays 4k through a Shield TV. I'm hopeful that it isn't the limited processor in the Sony, but it very well could be.
ebr 16169 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 You say you are playing a 4k item and it isn't transcoding (no ffmpeg log is produced on the server) but it is only 1080 at your TV? Is the TV set to 4K resolution?
