Pull down to refresh

Any possible way to add pull down to refresh in your Android and iOS apps?

 

I do this gesture almost every time I use the apps. End up going into a library then hitting home to get a refresh instead.

I played with this and found it a little awkward with the existing horizontal and vertical scrolling. It was too easy to accidentally trigger.

You pulling any UX metrics? Could maybe turn something like this on and test usage?

 

I hate to always compare against Plex but the pull down to refresh when the scroll region is at the top works really well there.

I agree, it's a standard Android UX feature which should be consistent.
