Server user passwords

When there is an emby server update does it wipe out the password.

Reason i asking is because my nephew had his mom stick told me he using

admin and i know there's a password were on admin.Only me know the password

No it doesn't.

There is probably a simpler explanation why your nephew is able to access the admin account. Have you checked which accounts have "Allow this user to manage the server" enabled?

I put in a new password and he said the lock icon pop right up
