BigSteve84 14 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Not a priority I know but I'd love to see something like Apple’s parallax effect for our media 1
Punch 19 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 It would make sense on the home screen and on the screen when in a selected media file before you play. I'm always down for beautification of home screen as it sets the tone / feel of everything else
BigSteve84 14 Posted March 25, 2019 Author Posted March 25, 2019 (edited) 100% agree, the home screen of my movies or my shows would be great and also if possible to have it as the main art for your movie/show on the screen with the synopsis to the right Edited March 25, 2019 by BigSteve84
Carlo 4561 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Any examples of what something like this could/would look like?

aspdend 177 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 https://designmodo.com/apple-tv-effect/ Is this only for mouseover? how would it work if you are using a handheld remote in ET for example?
ebr 16183 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Is this only for mouseover? how would it work if you are using a handheld remote in ET for example? It wouldn't. This would only be applicable to touch/mouse interfaces. It also requires that every single image have multiple, unique layers. It's a cool idea but I'm not sure how practical for media.
Luke 42078 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 It wouldn't work well for mouse use because we have interactive icons in there. They will be harder to click if the poster is dancing around on you.
BigSteve84 14 Posted March 27, 2019 Author Posted March 27, 2019 That's a shame, it would be cool for something that has the wow factor with the movie posters or something
Luke 42078 Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 The only thing i can think of would be for remote control usage similar to apple tv, but not for mouse or touch.

It's a cool idea but I'm not sure how practical for media. That's what I thought - I'm not interested for my usage then - I'd much rather have themes and customisation of the interface
