How to search for shows in the guide

I must be blind.  I tried to search for a show (Cheyenne) in the guide, so I can record the series.  When I typed "Ch", it brought up the already recorded shows, but nothing from the guide so I could record the series.

 

I only tried this using the Emby app running on my Chrome browser, did not try using the Android app or the Emby Theater, running under Windows.

Is this the TV Show that ran from 1955-1963?

I just checked my guide (EST) for all the channels I've got and nothing shows up.  It could just be no stations are running the re-runs right now.

 

Try doing a search for "Young Sheldon" or "The Big Bang Theory" or any other show and you should see them show up in the search (besides any episodes you already have).

Tomorrow at 5 am. H&I channel... I used the HDHomeRun app to search for it, and found the time and channel.  I could have used Titan TV also, to find the listing.  Thanks for your assistance.

You simply use the regular search feature by clicking the search icon in the top right.

** Resolved **.  Went to my Nvidia Shield, opened Emby, and selected the guide.  Scrolled up to the ** top ** heading, and there is a "search" "button", I clicked on that, and bingo the search box opened.  The voice icon turned ** red ** , so I just said "Cheyenne" and it brought up the listings from the guide, so I could set the record series option.......... AWESOME!!

I went back to the Emby running under Chrome on my computer, and did a search.  Bingo, it was there, I just did not scroll down enough to see the guide entry, I only saw my recordings......

Glad you got it figured out.  Also glad you had this thread because this helped me find that H&I wasn't in my Emby Guide data even though I get it via Cable.  Had to find another EPG listing from another provider in my rough area, who did have this channel.  So now, hopefully I'll be able to search for "Cheyenne" too.  LOL

Years ago, when I had cable TV, the western channel had the digitally remastered version of Gene Autry's TV series.  Haven't seen them since.
