It only does it in the emby app, so I'm assuming it's something to do with how emby is outputting the audio Edited March 19, 2019 by imthedoctor
Luke 42077 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I wonder if the audio bitrate is too much? The transcoding decisions currently do not take into account that you're using bluetooth so you may need to lower the in-app quality settings.

I did think about that, but I can't find that setting anywhere. Where is it?

I did notice that the audio starts sooner than it did on 3.0.39. On .39 there was a half a second or so delay before audio started, and it would stutter a little bit while starting. It no longer does that. Not sure if that helps at all, but thought I would mention it in case it does.
computerprep 148 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 (edited) This is definitely a thing, and seems to be Bluetooth-related for me too. I've actually had the app crash a few times. My Bluetooth headphones are at work, though, so I'll do my best to test further and supply logs soon. Currently on v3.0.40 Edited March 24, 2019 by computerprep

ghost2015 1 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Hi @@Luke, on my side .42 not fixed chopping audio with bluetooth Mi MIX2 android 8.0.0 tested with Sony SRS-XB10, Onkyo TX-NR545, in My car New Tucson But I found one strange thing.. If I open any other player on smartphone and play something and then stop, Emby start working normally with bluetooth.. But after reconnect BT device chopping comes back..
