per user camera uploads

Hello,

Is it possible to have per user camera uploads without all the photos being available to _all_ emby users that have camerauploads library access?

I think it would be an obvious privacy requirement or maybe I am missing something obvious.

 

UPDATE: In the attempt to reset camera uploads contents I removed the camerauploads library from within Emby settings and now I can't figure out how to recreate this library. Isn't this an automatic process?

The next time an image is uploaded it will be recreated.

The library has indeed been recreated, but now only new photos get automatically uploaded. It seems that emby thinks to have older photos already synchronized, even if they were completely removed from the library.

There is currently no mechanism to automatically re-upload, but yes that's probably something that we should add.

So is there any workaround to this? I tried to take a look at data/library.db but only found records pointing to the new image files. How I could make emby reindex all the photos uploaded from my phone?

Just upload them manually from your phone and do a "Library Scan"

 

Emby will find them all.

I also found a way to let an emby user to show only _its own_ uploaded images.

Maybe it's an obvious pattern pertaining how library tagging works, but I didn't get it in the first place, so to sum it up:

In camera uploads settings I enabled the setting to create a subfolder for each device. Then I tagged the folder of the user device I don't want to share the photos from with tag "mytag" and added "mytag" to the blocked tag list in parental control settings belonging to the user I don't want to share the photos to.
