how to get app.emby.media connecting via https without custom url?

Hey,

 

I like how http://app.emby.media can connect to my emby server, makes it very useful when allowing remote users to connect, and it's easier than DDNSing my home network. However, when trying to use it via https://app.emby.media, it's trying to connect to http (8096) and returning a mixed content error. 

 

Basically the question is, how would I go about fixing this without a custom domain!

Hi, this isn't possible. You can only use the https version of the online web app if you first setup SSL on your Emby Server. Have you done this?
