Recommended Posts

hello, I installed nextpvr and the plugin for emby server. In LiveTV the channels are loaded and also the epg is correct. if I play a channel  it waits and does not start.

I attach the emby-server logs

thank you so much

I'm also using NextPVR and I learned, that there is one thing, you have to care about:

Always refresh the guide data in Emby just after the guide data refresh in NextPVR or else you will just getting spinning circles when trying to watch live tv or add an recording in Emby.

I have set the guide update job in NextPVR to 2:30 AM and the guide refresh task in Emby to 3:00 AM (instead of the default 24h period).

If you are doing a manually refresh of the guide data in NextPVR, do a refresh in Emby after that.

This seems to be caused by some unique IDs of the TV shows, that NextPVR creates on each EPG scan.

So after a new scan, the shows are getting new IDs but Emby doesn't know about that change.

Hope this helps.

Ciao, Alfred

@@tyler208 the server log is filled with next pvr errors. Have you checked next pvr logs?
