It happens too often, the wrong artist is selected from musicbrainz. It chose Queen (rapper) instead of Queen (Rock band). A simple drop down menu that would show other artist's named Queen. Right now it's a pain to fix. Gotta search musicbrainz for the right Queen [number] and paste it in and then scan again.

 

The AudioDB is a little better but also has it's misses.

You may want to consider pretagging your audio files with the music brainz ids embedded.

Given the desire to make emby as simple as possible for users, maybe emby should, when there are multiple matches, make a further call to music brainz with one of the albums/tracks to confirm which is the right artist?

 

there maybe 2 queens but there is only one queen with an album called 'greatest hits' with track 1 'bohemian rhapsody'.

 

there is alot of information in the tags and on musicbrainz to ensure even the messiest libraries get ided 99.9%..indeed even if a library had both 'queens' emby could tell the difference. and given the importance of the mbz ids (bios and art) its perhaps worth going to greater lengths to get it right as often as it can be.
