Using a external usb hdd for streaming

Hi all,

 

Question : does a external usb hdd have problems with keeping up

streaming ?

i want to rebuild the server on an android minix with external usb hdd.

for energy comsumption.

 

anybody know if it works great ?

A USB3 drive is FAST compared to streaming so you won't hit any issues.

 

Heck, you can even usually plug a USB3 drive into most new home routers and use it like a NAS as well.
