Sound issues in only one movie

Hi.

I am not sure, if this is an issue in emby, but I have one movie with some "strange" sound issues when I play it in the emby web app.

 

The Movie is "Interstellar" - it has Dolby Digital 5.1 (english), DTS 5.1 (english) and DTS 5.1 (german)
When I select the DTS 5.1 Audio Track, I have some strange noise in specific sceenes - it sounds like "crk crk crk"...

It happens on the english and german DTS Audio Track, but not with the Dolby Digital Audio Track.
I watched the Movie on my computer with a smaller Logitech Stereo Setup and a Subwoofer.

The noise keep persistent when I reduce the volume - the "crk crk crk" is getting louder or quiter when I change the volume - so it is not related to the speaker itself.
I could not hear these sounds while playing the movie directly in VLC - but I need to switch to mono in the VLC Audio settings in order to get the soundtrack, the background sounds and the dialogs.

 

I don't know, how I can explain it more clear or how I could show what exactly I mean...

 

If needed, I could provide access to the movie in my emby setup in a Private Message - maybe, this would help.

Maybe, the Log from ffmpeg_remux could help?

OK, I found the next movie with the same issue for the DTS Audio Track... not sure, if this is somehow related to my encodings or not :-/

You can always try a different browser and see how that compares.

Sorry for the late reply.

 

It seems that the sound issues only appear in Google Chrome.
I have noticed this issue in several movies now... also, I have tested one movie (mentioned above - interstellar) in Firefox and I was not able to hear anything strange in the audio...

Hi, yes. With Chrome I still have this issue on some movie.

With Firefox Eversthing seems to be fine.
