Setting External Player for Only HDR Content

Hello, I recently set my external player as mpc-hc since I can get MADVR to passthrough HDR content from my windows machine to my TV. I was wondering if there is a way to get Emby to switch over only for HDR enabled content?

I saw they have the 3D content option, I would be happy with a 4K only option.

It should be an HDR option, not 4k. I've got a bunch of 1080 HDR titles.

Personally I'd just go with Doofus MPV guide.

 

It really makes 1080P look better and i see no difference in 4K (comparing the LG Chess Video).

I've got a few more tweaks for that, too. I discovered a brightness variation. Lowering it 3 points, takes care of it. I was holding off on posting it, but I think I'll add it.

Fair enough, I honestly hadn't even thought about 1080 HDR titles. I honestly don't know what the difficulty of having Emby recognize HDR metadata would be.
