Feature request: option to prevent refresh rate switch back

I’m not sure if I should put this here or elsewhere.

I’d like to see an option to prevent refresh rate to switch back after playback to initial setting, after watching something that provoked a refresh rate switch.

The use case is that most of the time, my refresh rate is set to the most common (23). When I watch several episode of a série in 25Hz, it will switch to 50, then back to 23 after playback. And each time, it takes 6-8 seconds due to slow HDMI handshake on my projector. Plus I lose the sound, due to the bug reported elsewhere.

 

It would be nice if I could set it so that Emby would not switch back after playback.

I'm not sure this is possible in all instances.  I know on Android TV, the system automatically switches back.  The app doesn't do it.
