Guest Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Is it possible to send messages from local webapp to another? I tried this and got an HTTP 204 from EmbyServer after POST of the message. The WebApp offers this function, but it seems not to work. 2019-03-03 17:25:45.830 Info HttpServer: HTTP POST http://toothless.fritz.box:8096/emby/Sessions/54a65d2a91ed12e8137bdc6875009116/Message. Guest Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) Well, sounds nice. But it doesn’t work? I think 204 is not the expected response. Edited March 3, 2019 by loeffelpan
Guest Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I use local web app via browser and reverse proxy. Someone does the same from another device. As admin of the server I can send messages from server dashboard. Other web app doesn‘t receive this message. Kodi apps does.
Luke 42077 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Just tested and seems to be working fine. I sent a message from Chrome to Firefox. Perhaps a problem with your reverse proxy? I would try without that.
Guest Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 I will try. Is this possible with the same user in both Webapps?
Solution Guest Posted March 7, 2019 Solution Posted March 7, 2019 Thank you. You‘re right. Was an issue with my reverse proxy.
