Updating People in Locked Season

I was just wondering if there's any way to update the people (cast and crew) for a TV series season that I've locked due to the TVdb having the wrong episode order. I'm able to do it manually, by going to each actor and refreshing their metadata, but I'm hoping I can automate this process.

 

Also, Emby can't seem to find some people, even though I've found their IMDb profiles and even tried searching by IMDb ID. Any suggestions there?

Hi, unfortunately not really. You have to refresh the metadata on the series because this is when people info gets pulled in. That will require you to unlock the items in order to work.

 

So that means you need to choose between losing your episode number edits, or editing people manually instead.

Emby does not use IMDB at all.  Emby will try to use that id on other provider sites.  All images come from either TMDB or TVDB.

OK, no problem. I had a feeling that might be the answer. I'll keep the episode order and do the rest manually.

 

I was confused by the search box for IMDb ID, but I get it now.
