Best Comic Book Management (Non-Emby Related)

Looking for a good option to view my comic books across my android, iOS, and windows devices. Would be nice if it functioned similar to Emby, with a backend Server and file management so that the files don't specifically need to be on the device for storage saving purposes.

 

What have you guys used? I have roughly 50GB worth of .cbr and .cbz files that I'd like to house in one place, and not "some stored on Android, some stored on iPad" etc etc.

 

What are some good options?

 

Would like to avoid cloud storage if possible. Just don't want to pay for it.

Just a little update on this, as I think I've figured out a solution, at least partially.

 

Found an app called YACReader. Cost a few bucks on the App Store for iOS, but not terrible. Comes with a Windows backend client.

 

Now to just figure out something for Android.

For Android I used kuboo + ubooquity (both free). Works well with yacreader library because YACR requires organized file structures.

 

I also use comictagger w/ a script that sorts my comics into the proper folders.

Emby Server 4.9.1.8+ will now have a book reader in the web app for the following formats:

• EPUB
• MOBI
• FB2
• CBZ
• PDF
