Correct me if I'm wrong, I dont believe it exist yet on FreeNas. I tried to run an update but it failed resulting no update available.

How did you install emby server?

From my Freenas Dashbord plugins section. However threw Emby directly it is stating :

Version 4.4.2.0

checkEmby Server is up to date

And if I'm trying to run the update threw my Freenas it result with the error no update.

However I clearly know its outdate since my Windows Emby server states :

Version 4.4.3.0

checkEmby Server is up to date

That is why I was wondering if the update wasnt just out yet on Freenas or the issue actually come from my server.

Right ok, it's probably just not released yet in the freenas plugin system.

The trailer must be the exact name of the movie file with "-trailer".  So moviename - 1080p.ext and moviename-trailer.ext will not work.  It must be moviename - 1080p.ext and moviename - 1080p-trailer.ext. (file extensions don't matter)

What about trailers kept in a trailer subfolder within each movie folder?

Of course, you could put the trailers into a subdir named trailers inside the movie folder, then it doesn't matter, how they are named.

That's the way I'm doing it...

Ciao, Alfred

That's how I had been doing it for over a decade, but apparently that's not working now either. Is it still working for you or do?

That's still working for me (Emby Server 4.4.3.0 on Windows).

Every movie/series has it own folder and there's a folder trailers with the trailer file in it.

Also, I'm not using mixed content, only seperated movie/series libraries.

Ciao, Alfreds
