Won't scan "Can You Ever Forgive Me?"

My video collection is on NAS, My Emby server on a Windows machine.  I have Kodi on an Android TV box using the same NAS videos.  Emby fails to scan in this movie while Kodi has no problem. The movie is listed in TMDB as "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" with the question mark.  My folder/file tree has:

 

N:\Movies-recent\2018\Can You Ever Forgive Me (2018)\Can You Ever Forgive Me (2018).720p.WEB-DL.MkvCage.ws.mkv

 

I am wondering if the question mark is the issue, but if so, why with Emby and not Kodi.  Another detail about this movie is the release date is sometimes given as 2019, sometime 2018 - TMDB says 2018.

 

Any suggestions about what I can try?  Thanks.

Hi there, why exactly do you feel that Emby fails to scan it?

OMG, as I was answering I did each step again, and suddenly the movie appeared.  My steps were

 

1. put the movie and folder in place

2. go to Configure Server and click Scan all libraries, wait

3. go to one of the Emby clients on Windows, phone, or Android TV and search the movie by name

 

I been doing this for two days before finally posting.  What changed?  I suspect some detail of file/folder namiing - but still guessing.

perhaps it was a matter of waiting for the scan to complete. In any event, thanks for the feedback.
