tgaleman 0 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Is it possible to run emby with no GPU at all? I want to build my emby server using some old parts I have. These would include Sabertooth 990FX R2 AMD FX 8350 8GB DDR3 1600 seems like socket am3+ CPU dont have any integrated graphics. So would it be possible to install with a VERY low end graphics card like this one? Would it have any impact on performance? Just need something to be able to connect a monitor and install emby. As long as it doesn't affect performance much.
Luke 42080 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Hi, yes it is possible. Emby doesn't have any requirements on having a GPU, only it has benefits of being able to take advantage of them.
