Slow guide xmltv import when using a url

I've noticed from the logs that if I use a remote url for epg guide data it downloads the xml for each record it is working on. Even with a small 2 meg file this change the processing time from a few minutes to a few hours. If I put the xml file on a local filesystem then processing is just a few minutes.

Yea there is some duplicate transfer there. It is something we can improve on. Thanks.
