I have spent 3 hours today trying to update the Artist information on music for improperly tagged stuff and nothing is working. I have tried editing the name directly as well as entering the MusicBrainz ID. I click refresh and nothing happens.
newembyuser3535 0 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Clicked the three dot menu and then "Refresh metadata" Manually entering the artist information doesn't seem to do anything. I save it then click the metadata again and it is back to the original values. I just want to know how to update the Artist of an Album and thus the Album's tracks so that the Album shows up in the correct spot in the UI on the Artist's page. Can't figure out anywhere how to do this (forum and Reddit)

It's planned for the future though. The scheduled task is only for the regular library scan.

newembyuser3535 0 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Yes. I ended up just changing my workflow to use MusicBrainz Picard to do all metadata stuff before uploading any music to the Emby server. Everything works how I want that way.
