Zock-Rob 0 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 (edited) Hi guys, is there any way to change the name of multiple versions in the movie description? Currently under "Version" is the entire file name instead of just "1080p", "2160p" etc. Straight with longer filenames it looks very ugly. Thx!!! Edited February 22, 2019 by Zock-Rob
Luke 42085 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Hi, not at this time, although we'll continue looking at improving it in the future. thanks.
crusher11 1102 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 For me it only shows the bit after the dash, not the full title. Not sure why it's different here? 1
crusher11 1102 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 LG Smart TV, web app, Emby Theater, Android app. Everything I've tried so far.
Happy2Play 9784 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 (edited) Same here but only tested on web client with test libraries as I do not do multi-versions. Dash and bracket multi-versions v4.0.2.0 Edited February 22, 2019 by Happy2Play
Zock-Rob 0 Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 I think it looks different on my system, because the 1080p and 4k versions are not in the same folder. I have linked them manually.
Luke 42085 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Yup the naming in the dropdown is just the result after removing all the common leading characters from the filename. If there are none, then you'll see the whole file name.
Zock-Rob 0 Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 Is there any way to show it correcutly, even though the files are not in the same folder? Because not every user should have access to the 4k version, I can not have them in the same folder. Structure now: Movies > 300.2006.German.AC3.1080p.x264 > 300 (2006) - 1080p.mkv Movies (HDR) > 300.2006.German.AC3.2160p.x265 > 300 (2006) - 2160p.mkv
crusher11 1102 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Does this work? Movies > 300 (2006) > 300 (2006) - 1080p.mkv Movies (HDR) > 300 (2006) > 300 (2006) - 2160p.mkv
