Music category or Custom categories?

It's neat that the "what's on" page is broken up into the limited out-of-the-box categories like movies, kids, news. But what if we want some other categories or to create our own categories? For example I would like a music category.

Hi, genre based categories are possible for the future, yes. In the meantime you could filter by genre on the list screens.

Where is this filter by genre for live tv?

If you click on the headings of one of the categories such as On Now or Movies, the next screen will have a Filter button. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

I see it in the browser but not in the roku app. Where does this genre data come from?

Ok it just hasn't' been added to Roku yet. The genres come from the guide data.
