justmejustme 3 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I am trying out Emby after using Plex for many years. I synced some TV content to my Android tablet to watch offline. After reconnecting, I checked Trakt and didn't see it in my Recent history. But the episode WAS marked as Watched. Delving deeper, it had marked it as having been watched Sunday December 31, 0000. I didn't realize we had TV and websites that long ago!
Luke 42077 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Hi where do you see that? On the trakt website, or in emby?
justmejustme 3 Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 Hi where do you see that? On the trakt website, or in emby? On the Trakt website. I don't know of a way to see the watched date/time on Emby.
justmejustme 3 Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 On the Trakt website. I don't know of a way to see the watched date/time on Emby. The problem may be with Emby-proper though, since I just also noticed that when I watch on my Pixelbook (Android) while offline, the next item in the series doesn't show up in the front of the "Next Up..." list, but rather near the very rear. Generally, the next episode would be at the front of Next Up, right?

OT: I don't know about apps, but in the web client you have a global Next Up (home screen, all libraries), a Library Next Up, and a Series Next Up. As far as I know these sections (global and library) do not auto resort to make the Next Up item the same Series you just watched. Edited February 22, 2019 by Happy2Play

justmejustme 3 Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 Ok we'll see if @@J2ghz can reproduce. Thanks. This is happening regularly with all content I'm watching on my tablet in offline mode. It marks it watched on Trakt at Sunday December 31, 0000 - I've got a bunch of stuff I watched on that date now.... A separate issue regarding Trakt: if I watch just the first 10 seconds of something due to an errant mouse click (in online mode), the next day I see that Trakt has it marked as Watched. Plex didn't do that unless I watched 90% of it, never for just watching a few seconds... Is Trakt support an official part of Emby or is it a third-party add-on? Should I be reporting this elsewhere?
J2ghz 11 Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 @@justmejustme Can you send your logs? Make sure to enable debug logging in emby and in the trakt plugin.
justmejustme 3 Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 @@J2ghz I'd be glad to. I searched, but couldn't find a topic on how to securely do so. What's the process? @@justmejustme Can you send your logs? Make sure to enable debug logging in emby and in the trakt plugin.
Luke 42077 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Enable debug logging in Emby under the logs section, and in trakt in the trakt plugin,. Then restart your server. Then follow the guidelines here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
justmejustme 3 Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 My question wasn't how to get the logs, but rather how to get them to you without posting them in a public forum. Logs contain quite a bit of potentially sensitive info. Enable debug logging in Emby under the logs section, and in trakt in the trakt plugin,. Then restart your server. Then follow the guidelines here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
zendal 0 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 It does that for everything I synced on my android phone and watched. I was wondering while Kodi wouldn't sync for awhile when upgrading to 18. To fix on trakt click on each episode remove all plays and you can select release date, now, or manually select date. I just hit release date on those episodes. Emby offline seems like it is not keeping watched date so it default to Dec 31, 0000.
JosephKav 0 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 (edited) Did this not get fixed? Stuff in watch offline mode gets synced to 31/12/0000. (Using v3.3.5.0 Trakt Plugin) Edited November 9, 2019 by JosephKav
Luke 42077 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 There was a fix for this in Emby Server 4.2, so please make sure you're running the latest version. Additionally, the fix will not correct previously impacted content, only newly watched content going forward. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
JosephKav 0 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Yeah, I'm on the 4.2.1.0. The last thing I watched offline was a day or two ago and it happened for that
Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Ok, we'll take another look at this. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Please try the Trakt plugin 3.3.9 and report your experience. Thanks.
zendal 0 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) I haven't had any Dec 31, 0000 history on trakt now, but I am getting duplicate watches now. Probably when it scrobbles then again when it syncs? It seems it has 2 times seem one when I started watching and one when I finished since they are the time of the show apart. That was 3.3.8 will try 3.3.9 now. No doubles in 3.3.9. Edited December 7, 2019 by zendal
