markdj 49 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Hi, I've added my MP3 collection to Emby, but all of the artists are 'empty', with nothing in it. Refreshing them manually fills them up with the correct information and images, but it's quite a hassle to do this with over 1500+ artists. What's happening and how can I get Emby to do this for me? The metadata manager is of no help either these days since I can't just select 'Music' and use the three dots and refresh that way (why has that been removed, by the way?). My settings are as follows.

markdj 49 Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 I have to manually identify the artists, Emby does not scrape the data for them. I just refreshed through the library setup but that didn't work either (but that was to be expected since it didn't work the first time). Manually identifying works, but it's not what I expected to happen of course.
markdj 49 Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 'Searching for missing metadata' also works, but then I have to select all artists manually (per page, which still takes a lot of time). Deleting and re-adding the library doesn't work either.

Bio is there 4 bands which are known; so its justs pictures @my point Emby dont lock in my folders ... there are all infos its needs artist.nfo fanart.jpg folder.jpg logo.png
