tvshows - episodes hangs Emby Theatre

Hi.

When trying to go to tvshows - episodes, Emby Theatre stops responding, uses 10-12% CPU, hogs a lot of ram, and i cant use emby at all as it becomes very  unresponsive. In web browser it loads instantly.

It seems that Emby Theatre is trying to load ALL my episodes in one screen, while web browser only shows 100 episodes before i have to change to the next 100 manually with an arrow at the bottom.

Is there a way to limit how many episodes shows at once in Emby Theatre, or any other way to fix this?

Thanks.

It's because it's a huge list. It's something we'll look at improving in a future update. Thanks.

It freezes up completely, so great if you could fix it in the future, thanks :)

Tried Emby Theatre 3.0.8 today.

Episodes still hanging alot because it is trying to load all the episodes on one page, takes a long time to load page, but at least now i can chose episode after some time.

Scrolling is lagging insanely, is there any way to limit results to 50 or 100 or so in V 3.0.8?

Also, will you be adding Upcoming, Networks and Episodes to this dropdown menu?

Try the horizontal view instead of vertical - IMO it's a much better experience.

Go to Settings > Home Screen and select "Horizontal" for TV mode homescreen (first option).

"Suggestions" is highlighted -  but because you haven't watched anything yet so there aren't any suggestions.

Cursor up to the top line and press enter on "Shows" instead - that will give you a full list of shows.

It's because there's no room for it up top. It will return in the future when we've redesigned the layout. thanks.
