Having Trouble updating actor information

I have run the update feature several times and the program has downloaded a lot of information (probably several thousand actors), however, the list is incomplete. I can go to some actors and there is no information of head shot present. I try to manually update the information and get nothing. I have even tried to type in the IMDB number and still no luck. I seem to be able to go to the cloud and download the image but it will not update the actor metadata. Any suggestions?

Ok, I have found an odd work around. 

 

I use the identify option in the media broswer theater and then type in the IMDB id...heres the odd thing. I tried doing that in IE and nothing worked. I tried the same in Chrome...and bingo it works.

 

Chrome version: Version 34.0.1847.131 m

IE version: 11.0.9600.17031

Still having problems. Some actor data will not download on either browser...not sure what is going on?

We download from themoviedb.org so you want to make sure there is actually information to download. sometimes there isn't. apart from that more information will be needed.
