Continuous Library Scans

I noticed that nearly every time I looked at my Dashboard screen that Emby was almost always part way through a library scan (triggered to scan every 12 hours)

 

Had a look at the log after I restarted the server, and it had scanned 15 times in just under 3 hours.

 

Turns out the Organize New Media files scheduled task was triggering a full scan, even when no new media files had been added to the watched folder.

 

Can this behaviour be changed to only do a library scan if new content is found, as it is I've disabled the task and will run it manually when I need to import new content?

Well that's the way it should be. We have accepted a lot of community contributions with this plugin and although it has resulted in a number of new features, it has also brought some new defects along with it. Thanks.
