Guest asrequested Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I just happened to be on the dashboard while listening to music, and noticed the activity didn't seem to be in order. When a song finishes, it moves to the top and the currently playing song is below it. It rotates through, like that. Isn't the current activity supposed to be at the top?
Guest asrequested Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 And why is it reporting finished playing, twice?
Luke 42083 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 That's just the order that the requests came into the server.
Guest asrequested Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 So it's just random? I was watching, further. Some go to the top and some go to the middle. I guess it doesn't really matter, I just thought it was strange, being out of order like that.
Guest asrequested Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 As in it does the same thing every time with every file? No, but does appear to be consistent with the same files. So one song will always be in the middle, and another song will always go to the top.
Luke 42083 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Is it when allowing songs to finish and advance, or when changing tracks manually? Does it happen if you play from the web app?

It's when I allow the tracks to finish. I'll have to test playing them in the web app. I'll update when I test that.
Guest asrequested Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 It's the same in the web app. But different if the time changes

Or the server isn't using the correct time. How can a song play and stop playing at the same second? Edited February 24, 2019 by Doofus
ebr 16187 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 That's what Luke said, but I can't be correct. Or the server isn't using the correct time. How can a song play and stop playing at the same second? I can think of a couple of ways - one would be the user stopping it just as it was starting. Another would be some sort of error that made it not actually playable.
Guest asrequested Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I can think of a couple of ways - one would be the user stopping it just as it was starting. Another would be some sort of error that made it not actually playable. I can reproduce this. No errors, just no sense. One song does, another song doesn't etc. It's bizarre. If I simply let them play through, they are not symmetrically ordered in the dashboard.
Luke 42083 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 The two messages are sent to the server at almost the same time and that's just the order that they got there.
Guest asrequested Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Well, as I said it doesn't really matter. I just thought it was odd
