Thanks I found this link https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/25482-genre-art/page-2 where the issue of Genre was raise, it doesn't appear to have resolution then ie about 2-3 years, may the in Kodi have made a provision to cache genre locally.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 It's not possible because of the way Kodi implemented genre images. The add-on cannot provide the artwork for genres.
