New players all around

Im trying to use different apps for emby

->emby for kodi on home theater setup using zidoo player (needs 4k, atmos, 3d, so all the way)

->emby on lg oled tv from lg store (need 4k, no atmos only sonos playbar connected)

->emby on ipad to connect to google chrome (its not an ultra version)  (no 4k, no atmos)

 

I have all kind of movies: 4k movies, atmos movies, bluray format, 3d mvc format, mkv, dvd,...

 

I want to be able to play all movies everywhere

 

The last one elby on ipad to google chromecast is the one now to discuss

 

It doenst play any movie

Any idea?

4k doenst play, 3d mvc movies dont play, bluray movies dont play

havent tried further

 

they do play on emby for kodi and emby lg store

 

when i click play (in the app) sometimes i get "unlock features premium" , and sometimes it tries to play cause i see a loading circle on tv, but nothing happens

 

 

Edit: mkv's do play but it takes ages to start

 

I tried bluray with web app, but that gives an error no compatible streams

 

My wifi strength has excellent gigabit speed (ubiquiti setup)

Mmm it seems lg emby app has problems with playing a 3d mvc movie too  also bdmv

webapp also problems with bdmv etc

Ok so this right here is your problem. This is only experimental. You've seen the warnings, right? For best results we recommend converting to mkv.

Im sorry, not going to convert 800 movies

 

Kodi and even zidoo , shield etc etc they all play bdmv movies

 

Guess emby clients arent that strong at all then?

I tought it transcoded?

i converted one with makemkv

the movie now does play with plex, but not with emby?
