Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 I tried removing the plugins as part of the troubleshooting, issue existed with them present. I re-added those 3 and tried identifying with themoviedb, still no results identify.pngidentify2.png And if you only used the providerid? Can you post the server log for these searches also.
theAkran 1 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 I don't know what the provideid is
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 I don't know what the provideid is Only enter there MovieDB id, no name or year.
theAkran 1 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 Here's a log, tried identifying with themoviedb and imdb, every refresh metadata option, rescan library embyserver.txt
theAkran 1 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 Only enter there MovieDB id, no name or year. I've tried that as well, it's still blank
Luke 42078 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 It doesn't appear that it ever attempted to contact moviedb, which suggests to me that you've disabled it for this library. Please check your metadata provider settings for this emby library and make sure that moviedb is enabled. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 (edited) With a little testing it would appear the nested Subs folder is creating most of the issue. Noticed in screenshot in post 13. As soon as I removed the Subs folder and refreshed the item all local metadata was used. \Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018\Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018.1080p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS.mkv \Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018\Subs\Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018.1080p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS.idx \Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018\Subs\Bohemian.Rhapsody.2018.1080p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS.sub But the Identification issue would be disabled providers as I see the same. Luke 42078 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 But the Identification issue would be disabled providers as I see the same. I'm going to update the Identify feature to not show external id options when providers are disabled. And also make it smarter to not even present the Identify option when all metadata features are disabled. 1
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 (edited) @@Luke Primary issue appear to be the unsupported Subs folder. But why would that prevent the reading of Local Metadata? There does appear to be a issue somewhere that cause parser to look for filename.xml instead of movie.xml though as I saw the same in testing (something to do with the unsupported structure). Luke 42078 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 @@Luke Primary issue appear to be the unsupported Subs folder. But why would that prevent the reading of Local Metadata? Because the movie only owns the whole folder if there is nothing else inside, therefore the movie.nfo/movie.xml can be used. Once add something else into the movie folder, now it's a mixed folder, and the only supported nfo file name would be moviefilename.nfo. 1
theAkran 1 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 I can confirm that removing subs folder fixes the issue. Is this something I'm going to have to do for every title or can you fix it on your end? This was never an issue in the past. Either way thanks for the help identifying the issue.
Luke 42078 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 For right now yes although a few people have mentioned that subfolder so we could probably look at supporting it.
