CPTNHotSauce 0 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Recently I updated to Emby Server 4.0.1.0, and updated Chrome to 72.0.3626.81. Since I updated both programs, I am unable to play media on a chromecast when using the web browser. The Android App displays the list of devices on my network normally.
Luke 42079 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Starting with chrome 72 it is only allowed in a secure context. That means you need to be using the web app over https or localhost. Nothing we can do to change that. The easiest solution is using the Android or iOS mobile app. 1
