Scanning strm files taking forever

I am trying to scan strm media but before it can even get to new files to scan it is checking every single file. The slowdown is it is seeing if it can "mount" each file. Why can it not just scan from the filename and move on?

~10 seconds per file to check the mount, 3122 files, over 8 hours.

 

The progress also jumps right to 90% and I guess the 8 hours is going to be from 90-100%.

Hi, that's not going to cause any slowdown. it's more about what is happening in between those logging statements.

No additional logging comes out, even with debugging checked.

Ok, looks like you have all movies in a single movies directory. There is an issue in the current release server causing scan time for this to be very slow. We'll be getting an update out this week to resolve it. thanks.

I can easily create subfolders, my local media is in subfolders like this. Will create, try again and report back.

I have put them in individual folders and it is now going at a much faster speed of 1-2 seconds and in some cases several in one second. I will keep an eye on it to see how long it takes.
