Remote Access with VPN

I have Emby Server on Synology and installed VPN on NAS. This obviously prevents remote access.

 

 

Other than using a VPN which allows portforwarding (which are few and far between), is it possible to edit the OVPN profile to create static routes, so Emby server bypasses VPN.

 

I have read it is possible with Plex, however not sure about Emby.

 

I think this a common issue people face. I use static IP and DDNS.

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.
