iNSPiREDS 0 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 It seems to work fine on the app and on my PC browser, but for some reason they're not loading on the TV via Fire TV. Is this a new bug? It worked fine a couple of weeks ago when I last used it. Worth mentioning they are selected, it's just that nothing loads. Thank you.
ebr 16184 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Hi. Can you please provide details of the problem you are having? Thanks. How to Report a Problem
iNSPiREDS 0 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Thank you for your quick reply. Just to confirm, I need to do it via the Fire TV itself, is that right?
ebr 16184 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Let's just start with exactly what you are playing and what you are seeing. Thanks.
iNSPiREDS 0 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Oh, I see. I thought I had been clear in the first post. Apologies. Current set up is: - Emby server installed on my Windows PC - Library is located on my external hard drive - Emby app installed on my Amazon Fire TV I have subtitles in .srt format in the same folder as the video file. I'm attempting to watch a TV show episode with subtitles on but, even though the subtitles are selected, no subtitles are displayed. Subtitles load fine when I play the same content on my PC or through the Emby app on my Android phone. Even casting from my phone to my TV works fine.
ebr 16184 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Hi. I mean a specific example of a specific item. Please can you show us some screen shots of the item you are trying to play and specifics about exactly how you "selected" the subtitles. Also, any ffmpeg logs generated when you play this item. Thanks.

Luke 42078 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log as well? Thanks !
iNSPiREDS 0 Posted February 4, 2019 Author Posted February 4, 2019 Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log as well? Thanks ! Can I use the log stored under appdata or does it need to be submitted via the Fire TV app itself?
ebr 16184 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The server log is on your server machine. What happens if you choose the "Eng" subs listed there? Can you please attach this file here? \\Public\\TV Series\\Game of Thrones\\Game.of.Thrones.S07.1080p.BluRay.x264-ROVERS[rartv]\\Game.of.Thrones.S07E03.1080p.BluRay.x264-ROVERS.srt
