Letting Emby Manage my Local Meta Data

So I have been curating my media for a LONG LONG time. I use Ember Media Manager to do it. Its a pain in the ass, but it works and keeps everything nice and dandy. Couple of questions before swithing:

1. More a general question, but does Emby always try local before fetching data?

2. If I am thinking about having Emby control that, how can I fix my current naming to make sure what I have matches what Emby does? Currently I collect as such (with one example below):

\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\.actors
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\.actors\Aaron_Massey.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\extrafanart
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\extrafanart\8ZNGBfGoN3uI5Akj5vEUDMxvmGO.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\extrathumbs
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\extrathumbs\thumb1.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\banner.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\clearart.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\disc.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\Gone Girl (2014).bluray.1080p.ext (poster)
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\Gone Girl (2014).bluray.1080p.ext (movie)
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\Gone Girl (2014).bluray.1080p.nfo
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\Gone Girl (2014).bluray.1080p-fanart.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\Gone Girl (2014).bluray.1080p-trailer.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\landscape.ext
\Movies\Gone Girl (2014)\logo.ext

3. Will Emby only populate missing stuff? Or will it overwrite what is present?

- Regarding my first question, any results I could find related to wanting to ONLY do local meta, I don't so I was hoping someone could answer quickly as its seemed like an easy question...

- Regarding my second question, the reason I asked is because the wiki doesn't show how it will name it, only that it supports numerous naming formats. I want my format in the way emby does it prior so my folder don't end up with 19000 copies of the same files. For instance, the WIKI tells me to name either {name}.ext or like {name}-poster.ext or like {name}-cover.ext or like {name}-default.ext or like {name}-movie.ext or like folder.ext or like poster.ext or like cover.ext or like default.ext or like movie.ext, I would like to know what Emby names it. I could definitely test it out, but ya know figured it was simple enough to ask and would require some effort on my part to test when someone might have the answer.

- Regarding question 3 I could't find anything about it in my searching, probably because I couldn't figure out a good way to word it.

1.  Yes, local metadata is always used if available.

2.  Looks fine, Emby does not use .actors at all.  image naming

3.  If media already contains metadata Emby will only read what is available and do nothing else.

Every situation is different but a standard scenario would be like this.

#1 - yes

#2 - emby supports all of that except for the .actors folder

#3 - Yes, it will only populate missing.
