Ghostm 74 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) Not sure if i should wait for 7 illusions but im trying to figure out what this means or what the problem is. My AVR see's the dlna server mb3 . But when i click on it, i see folders with no words beside it. I can even blindly click knowing from memory which is the music entry, and actually play music complete with album art even. But I cannot see any words beside the folders. If anyone can tell me what this would indicate or how i may fix it? Plex, media monkey dlna servers display fine, i can go through all folders with words beside them, but for media browser 3, after i click on it i see folder icons with no words beside it. I can take a picture if this does not make much sense, its such a strange problem its very hard to even explain. Edited May 4, 2014 by Ghostm

Ghostm 74 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) Yes. Most avr's these days have dlna capabilities that allow you to play music from a dlna server. I typically used media monkey dlna server prior but im hoping to fully switch to mb3, still have a few issues here I cannot seem to figure out. And just in-case this is not clear this is on my avr dlna client. I can take a picture of it if it would help, but its an extremely odd problem. The avr see's the mb3 server but when you click on it their is folder icons but no letters/words telling me what im clicking. And its just a mb3 dlna server problem, i have used about 4 other dlna servers with this avr without issue. I can blindly click on things and eventually figure out which folder is music and even play music fine with album art, but again i have no idea what im clicking their are no words telling me what the file is. bluemonkey07 590 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 You might want to adjust your thread title and second sentence for clarity then
Ghostm 74 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) Well an avr cant be a dlna server, its just hardware for playing audio.... they see dlna servers (Mb3 server which is why i posted here), i assume if devs are unsure of that, they wont be able to help me. I guess I could put a colon after avr in the title to separate it but i dont think you can edit thread titles. I will edit the 2nd sentence to avoid confusion. Edited May 4, 2014 by Ghostm
