bluemonkey07 590 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I don't know if this is possible/feasible but an option to make sure a video have readable media/codec info before adding it to the library could be a nice feature for people like me that still have issues with media being added to the library before it has finished copying and also stop corrupt files form being added
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 The system already probes your media for its codecs when it is added. In later versions of the server, if the file is still being copied, it will pause and wait for it to finish being copied before completing the probe.

I always seem to have to manually do a refresh in the web client after larger files are added to populate media info... Which is required before the media came be streamed
