alekslyse 0 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 I'm trying Emby for the first time from another known brand, and this far the experience has been good. Seems to load faster etc. And this could have been a topic many times before, but is it possible to change the color of the buttons, mainly the green color of play, status etc. I do not think the color is great in the newest design, at least the gradient of the green (personal opinion), and since its many personal opinions I would like to be able to change the color, is that possible?

Only change I would like to see at least is to use the same green color as in the web app. The green used in the app I dont think fit in, and the green used in the web UI is much more modern, but that is of course my personal opinion.

Hi. We are using the same color, it is just toned down a bit because of the fact that most TV displays are quite bright. In our tests, using the exact same brightness of color was quite obnoxious on a TV .

HairyBizRat 21 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Any update on this? I to would like to change the green buttons on apps to another colour. from what I understand the CSS changes are for web browsers only. And themes changes in apps are just backgrounds as buttons are still green.

In the Android TV app, you have a choice of either a "neutral" color or the theme color for button highlights. This is in the display settings in the app.
