Luke 42077 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hi there, does the episode show a known runtime on the detail screen?
johonathan 0 Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 Thank you for the quick reply Luke! No the episode lengths are missing. The show is an anime show and I don't use the anime plug-in. I use the TVdb naming scheme and all other metadata is showing correctly. I looked at another anime show and 2 out of 13 episodes have the length showing. Episode 4 and 11 so it looks very random. All filenames are named with sonarr so they should be consistently named. I looked at a couple of regular TV shows and they all seem to have the episode lengths present.
Luke 42077 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Ok, please try refreshing the metadata and see if that pulls in a runtime. t hanks.
johonathan 0 Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) I refreshed the metadata and got the runtime for a couple of episodes but far from all of them. I waited for a hour since I don't know if it's possible to accually see if the refresh of the metadata is complete. The library is pretty small so I think it should be enough time. When this didn't work I removed the library and added it again but that didn't seem to work either. Edited January 28, 2019 by johonathan
Luke 42077 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Please attach the emby server log, thanks.
johonathan 0 Posted February 6, 2019 Author Posted February 6, 2019 Any progress on this? I have tried removing all extra plugins and removing the cache folder and library.db in .config folder. Still no episode lengths for 99% of the episodes.
Luke 42077 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 After you refreshed the metadata did you try again? I have not been able to reproduce this.
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Can you please attach a log file from one of those refreshes? thanks.
johonathan 0 Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 Episode 1 shows the correct time, episode 2-5 does not. Timestamp for the episode that works is 2019-02-07 20:49:27.992. Thanks! Log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 So that means you can resume from episode 1?
johonathan 0 Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 Yes! I can play a couple of minutes. Quit and resume episode 1. Works like it should. Episode 2-5 marks the episode as played as soon as I start the episode and quit. Even though I just played 1 min.
Luke 42077 Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 Right because it's must not have detected a runtime. can you provide a copy of one of these files for testing? Right now I don't really have much explanation. Thanks.
johonathan 0 Posted February 9, 2019 Author Posted February 9, 2019 Sure! Do you have any way for me to share that with you?
Luke 42077 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Something like dropbox or google drive would be great.
johonathan 0 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 Same error with 4.0.2. Did a clean install. (Removed .config folder)
johonathan 0 Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 A couple of movies are also missing duration. Seems very random. Found anything?
Luke 42077 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 For me no problems with either of those two videos. We'll have a MacOS beta up soon with an updated ffmpeg. You can try that and see if it helps. Just follow the Testing Area at the bottom of the community. Thanks.

johonathan 0 Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 Thanks! Will test and see if it fixes the issues.
