Tolerant 74 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) WDTVL SMP Gen3 Reboots upon playback of a TV Series episode using the "new" DNLA server for me (Version 3.0.5233.40306). Everything looked good till I actually selected a title to play and then a sudden 'warm restart' of the WDTVL SMP. What/where should I be looking for as far as logs to attach for this issue? Thanks. Luke 42077 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Right but debug logging needs to be on, both general debug under Advanced, and Dlna debug, under Dlna.

Restarted server, did a full power off and on of the WDTVL SMP and then proceeded to find the series and episode and attempt to play it. Logs.txt 1

You're going to hate me but that appears to be the same. i don't see any debug messages in there.

Well I don't hate you but I am not sure how thats possible because I verified the debugging was turned on in both, but yea it did look very similar to me as well. I suppose I shall try try try again.

Tolerant 74 Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 Yeah, all the images (as far as I can tell) are showing up, I do use a theme for my WDTVL SMP, Black Mamba that is no longer updated by the author which may or may not be an issue. I see all the series images, covers, seasons, and screenshots from the episodes however, and from what *I* can tell visually the theme looks ok to me. -- Side note, I guess WD ticked off the theme authors and a few quit doing it because they felt they were not being heard with their requests.
Luke 42077 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 can you try other files? how about audio? what were the specs of the file you tried. just trying to figure out if it's something that would require transcoding or not.
