Luke 42080 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Have you run a full scan since you added the series You?

Mogub 1 Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) @@Mogub as a test, if you try adding a new series, does this happen with that series? Ok, here the tests: - Add a new serie and rescan, working - Rescan to find the missing one, not working - Move the files of a missing season show in my "Auto Organize" file, process and do a full rescan, not working - Move the files of a missing season show in my "Auto Organize" file, delete the directory of the show, rescan, process in auto organize and do a full rescan, working So, it look like the bug was corrected between the 4.0.0.2 and the 4.0.1.0 but to find the missing season and show, we have to remove the show from the library, rescan to destroy it, readd it and rescan another time Edited February 1, 2019 by Mogub
Luke 42080 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Interesting, thanks for the info. I might be able to resolve the issue with the upgrade process but in your case as you've already upgraded it's too late. now that you know how to workaround it manually you'll need to do that. thanks !

Siutsch 9 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) I have the same issue since some weeks (and a friend of mine too).Using Emby 4.1.0.15 A new series is detected, but no episode. It works occasionally if I rename the series folder (from "name (date)" to only "name" or something and rescan the library. I don't know why the series itself is recognized correctly, but the episodes are often not. But until a few weeks ago this worked almost without any problems. I use Auto Organize most of the time. Luke 42080 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I have the same issue since some weeks (and a friend of mine too). Using Emby 4.1.0.15 A new series is detected, but no episode. It works occasionally if I rename the series folder (from "name (date)" to only "name" or something and rescan the library. I don't know why the series itself is recognized correctly, but the episodes are often not. But until a few weeks ago this worked almost without any problems. I use Auto Organize most of the time. Hi there, please discuss a specific example. thanks.
Siutsch 9 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) Added a new series "Midnight, Texas (2017)". The name of the folder was created automatically after scraping by Auto Organize. All necessary files (tvshow.info, poster.jpg, season01-poster.jpg, etc.) have been created. Folder "Staffel 1" have been created too. All episode files were created with names "Midnight, Texas.S01E01.Willkommen in Midnight.mkv" and so on. But season.nfo file and the epidose nfo files and the thumb files have not been created. I renamed the folder and the epsiodes from "Midnight, Texas ..." to "Midnight Texas ..." (without comma) and started a new media library scan. Then all episodes were recognized and the corresponding files were created. In this way, i.e. the attempt to change the file name of the serial folder and/or the epison names, this often works. And that has nothing to do with the special character "comma", I had also simply deleted the year in brackets behind the series folder name and that was enough too.Does this help?Edit:I think this is the same problem:https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/71409-tv-sorting-seasons-metdata-issues/&do=findComment&comment=718323 Edited March 19, 2019 by Siutsch
Luke 42080 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 What if you add a new series manually without using auto organize?
Siutsch 9 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I will try that with the first new series, could take some time, until that.
