Hauppauge USB Tuner support

Hi there,

 

So far loving the Emby server on Android experience, using a Shield TV Pro.

However I have come from a Plex environment, and have the Hauppauge 1590 USB tuner (located in Australia).

I don't really want to throw out a perfectly good tuner, and buy a HDHR for Live TV support.

TVHeadEnd is not an ideal solution for me, 'cause I I'm not keen root my ShieldTV, because I don't wanna wipe my HDD (which I believe happens when you unlock as part of the process)

From an Emby perspective in terms of capturing disillusioned Plex users, I would have thought support for the Hauppauge 1590 tuner would be one of the first cabs off the rank, so to speak..

Is this on the roadmap? If so, any rough timeframes?
