Galaxy Note8 Sudden Reboot With Emby

Hi

 

Whether I am using the App, or the Browser, streaming video from Emby to my Galaxy Note 8 (that is not transcoded) causes the Note8 to suddenly reboot.

 

No warning, video freezes, then a half second later phone restarts. Fully repeatable, happens with live TV and Recorded content. Only seems to occur when content is not being transcoded. Changing the playback position makes the issue occur more reliably but it will also occur randomly while simply watching content.

 

Any idea's?

That's strange. I wonder if the direct files are just too much for the device to handle?

I have a note 8, and I don't have that issue, I tested both transcode and direct play, I believe the issue might be somewhere else, Why don't you try backing up your phone and do a reset and try to see if that fixes your problem.
