Okeur75 7 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Hi guys, Disclaimer : This is definitely a very low priority topic. Nothing urgent. I could not find a more explicit title to describe the "issue" but here it is : When you go on your movie library you can select on the right part of your screen the letters to filter only the movies starting with this specific letter. If you click on "B" for example, all the movies starting with B will be displayed, and you can move forward and see all the movies starting with "B", then with "C", then with "D" etc. But you cannot go backwards and displays all the movies starting with "A". I find the behavior a bit odd, as for me it should be one of the following: If you click on "B", Emby should display only the movies starting with the letter B. If you click on "B". Emby should display the movies starting with B, with the possibility to move forward and display movies starting with C, but also the possibility to move backwards and display the movies starting with A. I'd go for solution 2 as it's really useful when you have a huge library to select the letter B and go backwards to display the latest alphabetical movies starting with A (All the Avengers movies, Awake, Avalon, Aviator etc.), rather than clicking on A and having to move forward through 10 pages of movies starting with "A". (first world problem I know) I hope it's clear enough. Some screenshot below. On the first one we can see that the letter "B" has been selected and we cannot go backwards. The second one shows that even with the letter "B" selected, we can move forward and display movies starting with the letter "C". We can also keep moving forwards and backwards.(until the beginning of the B-starting movies). Also a side note for all the devs that may read this post : Everything is working fine on v4.0.1.0. I had no trouble migrating from 3 to 4, and everything still works like before. I read a lot of topic complaining about the v4, but no one says when it's working.
Luke 42080 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I think #2 is the ultimate direction to head in. Thanks.
