steve1977 67 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Wanted to report a bug with the the new feature of the latest MBS beta. When selecting "group movies into collection", it groups them as planned, but one of the movies stays outside the collection and is displayed as an individual movie. Does not bother me personally too much as I am disabling the function anyways (which works well), but wanted to report to get the bug fixed. Thanks!
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 The collection itself will show in the movie list. Selecting it takes you into that collection. Sometimes the collection will have the poster image of the first movie in the collection by default. You can disable this in the Preferences for individual users.

I know, this is how it is supposed to work. However, it does not work anymore like this in the latets beta. For every single one of my collection, it shows the collection poster (if it has one) and separately one (and only one) of the individual movies. this is in the movie overview. When selecting the collection tab, all works well.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Will have to look again. I have 90 collections set up and haven't seen this.
steve1977 67 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Are you on the latest beta? It works perfectly well with the stable version (all movies are inside the collection). Since the release of the beta (with the function to group or not to group), it no longer works. Note that I am referring to the "movie view/tab". If you go to the "collection view/tab", all works. I have over 100 collections and the issue happens at every single one of them.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) I use DEV builds... I can't seem to recreate this using Version 3.0.5233.22609 Edited May 1, 2014 by Wayne Luke
steve1977 67 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 I can confirm that this has been fixed in the developer built. I assume that the next stable and next beta will include this fix as well. Thanks!
Luke 42079 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I am at a loss because between the beta from a couple nights ago and the dev build today, really the only work that has been done has been on notifications.
steve1977 67 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Mmh, that's weird. I don't know whether there is an easy way for me to get back to the beta to reproduce. I can explain my earlier issue though (which I had with the beta, but no longer with the dev built): Disable group movies into collections - everything works Enable group movies into collections and select collection tab - everything works Enable group movies into collection and select movie tab - it displays a collection items properly (and when clicking it, it displays all movies that are part of the collection). However, with the beta version, it also (in addition to the collection item) displayed in the movie view exactly one movie that was part of the collection. To illustrate: 100 collection items and 100 individual movies in the movie tab Anyhow, it no longer is an issue, so probably nothing to worry about?
Alceste 3 Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 sorry but this option "Group Movies into collections" wander off to some other place again? If so where can I find it?
